Ubuntu, mon amour...cher(e) débutant(e)

bon j’abandonne ! j’essaye d’installer ubuntu par le live cd et en cours d’installation il me dit que mon lecteur de cd rom est trop lent !!! Ma machine est relativement nouvelle (3ANS DELL Dimention) .
Alor adieu Ubuntu, je craque!

Boot directemnt sur le CD au lieu de passer par le livecd. Et tu veras sa passera comme une lettre à la poste, perso j’ai jamais réussi à instaler ubuntu par le live.

j’essaye encore…mystère…


j'ai peur de ne plus avoir mon windows après....il me reste plus que 1 mm sur la bar d'install....il me demande de redémarrer. comment je peu vérifier si il me proposera les 2 boot avant de redémarrer ?

a part pulse audio…en bref le son ne fonctionne pas.

Mais pourquoi tu t’acharne à avoir du son avec plusaudio, met toi en alsa et puis c’est tout.

Tout simplement pour tenter de comprendre pulse audio. En suite je fais aussi de la MAO et si ça pouvait fonctionner…

Essaie ça :
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio

(Ou dans le menu ajouter : ajouter gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio )

J’avais enfin le son sur firefox et dans la lecture de son audio et vidéo. Une mise à jour de firefox à été faite hier et depuis plus de son !? Un vrai délire.

Hmmmm… l’explication a dû correspondre à un relink qui a dû être fait au redémarrage, mais c’est un bug dans tous les cas. On n’est pas censé redémarrer pour que ça marche. Tu as des mises à jour de pulseaudio ? Tu as essayé d’installer gstreamer?

le son est repartit ce matin…


j'ai pas mis pulse audio car je ne comprend rien à ce truc et j'ai bien Gstream avec tout les plugins rattachés.

En fait j’ai 2 cartes. Une usb creative extigy en usb et une en carte PCI M-audio delta 44 . Elle sont reconnu toutes les deux sans problème en ALSA. Je peu écouter le son sur le player mais pas sur firefox.

Ben … moi j’abandonne, il me faudrait un accès à la machine pour voir ce qui se passe.

Au niveau drivers tout est Ok. Donc je pense que ça doit être une bêtise dans la conf, mais difficile de t’aider sans mettre les mains dans le camboui.

Si tu es près d’une ville, il y a sans doute un LUG (Linux User Group) qui pourra te régler ça sur place. (ou alors je regarde par ssh, mais bon … j’imagine que tu vas être moyennement enthousiaste!!! )

ssh ? je suis sur Paris et je serais pret à payer quelqu’un pour quelques euros pour comprendre ce problème.
