Remplacement de ram

bonjour, on m a filé un pc pour augmenter la ram.
il avait 2barettes de 512mo unb pc3200 cl2.5 200mhz et j ai voulu mettre 2 barettes de 1go pc3200 400mhz.
lorsque je mets une de 1go et une de 512mo, pas de probleme.a part que windows xp detecte 2496mo dans les proprietes systeme??? mais lorsque je lance cpu id, il detecte bien 1go et 512 mo.
le probleme est que quand je mets les 2 barettes de 1go, impossible de demarrer le pc.ca fait un long bip puis plusieurs bips sans s arreter…pour l instant j ai laissé 1,5 go.je vous joints le rapport de cpu id.
pourriez vous me donner une solution pour que les 2x1go soient pris en compte? merci d avance.

La mémoire que tu as choisie est-elle compatible avec cette carte mère ?
ce n’est pas parce que c’est de la PC3200 que ça marchera.

si tu veux choisir de la RAM compatible, cherche le modèle de ton PC sur cette page et tu sauras quoi mettre dedans

je trouve pas mon modele de carte mere. je sais que c est une acer E661 GXM, peut etre est ce E600series?

Regarde aussi dans le manuel de la carte mère s’il y a des restrictions, notamment pour le placement des barrettes car tu ne peux pas forcément mettre les barrettes n’importe où (à cause du dual channel, de restrictions du chipset, etc…)

pas de manuel.de toute facon y a que 2 slots.

Le chipset c’est du SiS, pas tout jeune et pas top mais il devrait quand même supporter 2x1Go, sans doute une incompatibilité entre la carte mère et la RAM.

j ai essayé une par une et dans chaque slot,et ca les detecte tranquille.mais quand je met les 2 en meme temps, ca deconne.

J’ai eu le même souci autrefois,et c’était sur une cm Asus A7N8X censée gérer 3 X 1 Go de pc3200 :neutre: barrette A ou B de 1 Go sur le slot 1 ou 2 ou 3,ok…les 2 barrettes à la fois et ça ne bootait plus :confused:

Non :confused: aucune màj du bios n’a jamais réglé le problème et j’ai tourné avec 1 Go tout le temps où j’ai gardé cette config :neutre: ('fin bon,c’était suffisant : c’était l’époque des Athlon XP alors j’étais plutôt à l’avance en terme de quantité de ram sous Windows XP :stuck_out_tongue: )

bon bin ca restera comme ca alors.je vais revendre la 2eme barette
