Problème demarrage ubuntu

Bonjour, mon pc est long a demarrer avec le live cd ubuntu 8.04 meme si je l’installe, hors quand au menu du live cd je tape F6 et desactive l’option “acpi=off” ca marche super bien et live cd charge vite. Je n’ai que ce cas sur mon pc portable.
Donc à quoi correspond exactement “acpi=off” et qu’est ce que je risque si je desactive cette option?

cette option désactive la gestion avancée de l’énergie. donc si tu utilise ton laptop sur batterie il est possible que son autonomie soit réduite, et les nuisances sonores augmentés (disque dur et ventilateur à plein régime en continu).

Donc que dois-je faire pour reduire le temps de demarrage en utilisant "acpi"? (y'a t-il une astuce pour que "acpi" ne ce lance qu'une fois l'accès au bureau ou un truc dans le genre?) Comment le configurer "acpi" pour mon pc portable medion rim 2020?

tout depend de ton PC, de ton matériel, de la prise en charge de gnu/linux par le constructeur. Si c’est un constructeur qui joue le jeu, l’acpi peut être super. Sinon, c’est plus aléatoire. le syndrome le plus fréquent est l’impossibilité de mettre en veille, voire d’eteindre.

Pour le temps de boot, l’autre alternative, une fois Gnu/linux installé, c’est de recompiler le noyau, revoir la chaine init.d et ne charger que ce que l’on a besoin. Bref, optimiser… c’est du boulot.
