Problème de RAM et de graveur - impossible de graver, ram dispo faible

Je suis en galère avec mon ordi depuis plus d’un mois et je ne m’en sors plus…
Mon graveur Matshita qui fonctionne avec Nero ne veut plus graver (erreur de calibarge, fonction disk at once impossible etc…), les simulations fonctionnent, j’ai même réussi à graver une fois, mais depuis plus rien.
Je ne sais pas si cela a un lien mais je possède un vieil ordi (6ans) et ma mémoire physique totale est de 127,43 MO, je n’en dispose souvent que moins de 10%… Donc je me suis dit qu’il devait y avoir un prog malveillant sur mon PC qui me bouffait de la mémoire. Mais apparemment non, ni mon anti-virus, ni un scan en ligne sur symantec, ni ad-aware/ spybot ou même hijack n’ont remarqué quoi que ce soit.

En principe, 128 Mo de RAM sous Me suffit, mais bien sûr, quand tu essaies de graver, ferme tous les processus inutiles en fond de tâche et vire FreeRAM XP Pro qui ne sert à rien.
Cette version de Nero est ancienne ? en as-tu testée une autre ?
Autre possibilité: le flashage du firmware mais il faudrait que tu donnes la ref du graveur.
Toutes ces infos, tu les as avec Nero Info Tool (ref et firmware -> onglet Drive)

Si tu manquais de RAM physique, Windows te mettrait un message d’avertissement comme quoi il en manque.
Dans ce cas, c’est la RAM virtuelle qui est sollicitée via le fichier d’échange (swap).
Mais, virer des processus inutiles se lançant au démarrage est toujours utile.
Je regarde si je trouve quelque chose pour le firmware :wink:

Pour info, et peut être que ça va encore plus compliquer la tâche, je viens de réussir à graver 1 cd à la vitesse de 2x300 kb/s seulement, grace au logiciel Musicmatchbox… et là je suis encore plus perdue ! Est-ce alors un souci avec Nero ou avec mon vieux graveur ??? That is the question…

Pas de firmware plus récent pour ce graveur.
Donc, il a gravé en 4X puisque 1X correspond à 150 Ko/s.
Habituellement, c’est quoi sa “vitesse de croisière” pour un CD-R/CD-RW ?

D’habitude -et de mémoire- je gravais en 8x (1200ko/s) mais c’était avec nero. Avec musicmatchbox je n’ai plus accès au vitesse de gravage supérieure (ou il faut payer…), dommage car il aurait été intéressant que j’essaie en 8x pour voir si cela vient du logiciel ou de mon gravaur. Mais bref, auparavant je pouvais graver en tte tranquilité ce que je voulais (données, cd, compil) en moins d’un quart d’heure. Ce temps là est révolu je crois !

D’un autre côté, il est peut-être temps de le changer, non ?
Ca ne te dirait pas un graveur DVD ? compte dans la fourchette 40-50 €

Je pense également qu’un nouveau graveur ne serait pas du luxe cependant j’ai encore besoin de tes lumières…
un copain vient de me passer une barrette de 250 Ram et des boulettes, donc voilà déjà un souci en moins. Maintenant le graveur qu’il m’a prêté pour faire des tests ne marche pas non plus… Problème de mémoire tampon… Donc la question que je me pose est la suivante : est-ce son graveur qui lui aussi débloque au contact de mon ordi ou y a t il un problème différent ? Je te précise que son graveur fonctionnait efficacement avec son ordi… et que le logiciel qui l’accompagne est easy CD creator (ça ne marchait pas non plus avec Nero).

Il doit y avoir un autre souci :confused:
Teste au cas où de déplacer ton graveur sur l’autre nappe, configure le en maître s’il était en esclave.
Teste une autre nappe IDE.
Au niveau software, il n’est pas exclu qu’il y ait un conflit entre programmes.
A une époque assez lointaine, je me souviens par exemple que Nero et Easy CD Creator ne pouvaient cohabiter…
Tu pourrais essayer de désinstaller tous les softs et ne garder que Nero.

Salut Chafoin,
Après une semaine passée à batailler avec Wanadoo (plus de connection internet, qd ts les problèmes de la terre me tombent desssus…), me voilà de retour pour d’aussi mauvaises nouvelles.
J’ai changé mon graveur pour un Philips 1660K/00 (16xDVD+R/R). Superbe machine… qui ne veut pas me graver un CD de données à quelque vitesse que ce soit (ordi plante, je dois rebooter), et pire encore aujourd’hui j’ai simulé la gravure de ma compil best of 2001, simulation réussie en 7mns, et puis gravage planté au bout de 2 morceaux… Que dois je faire ? Jeter mon ordi par la fenêtre, c’est tentant mais peut être pas la meilleure solution. Help me please, je te laisse le Log de l’échec de gravure.
