J’ai un portable ACER Travelmate 420 et je souhaite acheter un périphérique qui ne fonctionne que sur USB 2.0 .
Or en consultant la notice , je n’arrive pas à savoir si mon USB est 1.1 ou 2.0 .
Comment puis-je faire ?

USB 2 il me semble au vue des accesoire que tu peut brancher dessus
Bon j’ai installé Everest mais je ne sais toujours pas si mes ports USB sont des 1.1 ou des 2.0 .

il fonctionnera en 1.1 sauf si c’est une grosse carte son usb2 ou un truc comme ça, ça fonctionnera mais mal (quoique ça dépend aussi l’utilisation)

mais là j’ai un autre problème c’est que je ne sais pas si mon slot PCMCIA est bon (1A 3,3 V) ?
t’es sûr ? y a toujours des carte tv externe en usb 1.1 et perso quand j’étais avec ma microatx PII400 les vidéos étaient fluides depuis un adaptateur ethernet usb 1.1.
évidemment faut voir l’utilisation. au pire on ajoute comme tu dis une carte usb 2.0
j’ai un peu confondu avec carte d’acquisition
exact pour une carte TV c’est suffisant :jap:
ben je sais pas, j’ai pas trop envie de donner un conseil sur ce coup là
edit : pour être sûr faudrait trouver une review ou un forumeur qui a testé la bête en usb 1.1. là j’ai encore rien trouvé.

I’ve been unable to get mine working using USB2 - it works perfectly using USB1.1 ports on my PC, but have had no success with USB2 on my PC.

J’ai installé everest et j’obtient 3 fois :
controleur UBS1 SiS 7001 PCI-USB Open Host Controller
et dessous j’ai une fois :
controleur USB2 SiS 7002 USB2.0 enhanced Host Controller
Cela signifie que j’ai trois port UBS 1 et un port USB 2 ?
Et est-ce que quelqu’un pourrait me dire la différence entre un port USB 1 et USB 2 et est-ce que c’est comptablie entre eux (UN PRODUIT usb2 peut-il aller sur un port USB1?)
