    J’aimerais que ce soit mon portable perso… mais non c’est celui du boulot :stuck_out_tongue: Pas de problème particuliers à l’exception de 2 petits:
  • drivers ATI sous linux de piètre qualité (accélération 3D moins performante que sous Win)
  • petit problème avec le wifi…
    Quand j’ai besoin de ma connection wifi, je suis obligé de faire une petit manip à la noix:
sudo rmmod ipw2200
(attendre quelques instants)
sudo modprobe ipw2200

Et là je peux reconfigurer le wifi normalement.

Pour le reste, tout va pour le mieux dans le meilleur des mondes =)

J’ai réalisé une petite page sur mon portable le w3v de chez ASUS

c’est par ici

IBM T21 / T22 / X400 (je crois) / R50e

Asus A6J T2400 2Go de Ram.

Bah euh, c’est pas la gloire.
Déjà il y a une ATI X1600 :’( :’(
Donc pour l’instant j’ai du Vesa en 1024x768 !!!

Ensuite j’ai pas de réseau (Sauf sur le firewire) sur aucune des distri essayées.
(Suse 10.1 beta8, Fedora core 5, kanotix 2006RC1, Gentoo, RR4, …)

Si quelqu’un sait comment faire fonctionner la puce RTL8111/8168 en smp.
Le pilote sur le site Realtek ne compile pas.
Et le Wifi c’est du Intel ipw3945 !!! J’ai pas encore essayé l’ebuild mais visiblement, d’après le forum Gentoo çà n’a pas l’air de trop fonctionner cet ebuild. :paf:

A part çà, le reste fonctionne. (pas testé la webcam)

Edit : Ok pour le Wifi avec l’ebuild ipw3945. Ok ATI X1600 (enfin pour une ATI donc c’est moyen mais au mois avec le 8.24.8, j’ai la résolution native de l’écran).
Me manque toujours la puce réseau rtl8168 qui reste non trouvée. :paf:

je suis l’heureux propriétaire d’un xb7 version 1. suite à qqs évenements malheureux (faut pas jouer avec dd les yeux fermés … ) je ne parviens plus à remplir mon xorg.conf.

Gentoo tourne super bien, béryl fonctionne. J’ai pas encore trouvé la motivation pour faire fonctionner le lecteur d’empreinte (va bien sous windows ^^).
La quadro a pas mal dans le ventre tout de même.

céléron M 1.5GHz, 512Mo, 40 Go, ATI 9100 IGP … (plus d’infos : easynote G1345)

Le seul regret, le chip wifi ignoble (Askey wl070, de tête), pas moyen de trouver un semblant de pilote pour nux :grrr:

Sinon, tout tourne parfaitement sous Suse10, Ubuntu 6, Debian (beryl powered) :oui:

J’ai passé mon portable sous ubuntu 6.1, c’est un sony vaio SZ2HP. Ca passe pas mal. Pour l’instant, y’a deux choses que je n’ai pas testées, la webcam (pour être honnete, je ne m’en sers jamais), et le bluetooth (j’ai rien qui fonctionne en BT).
Pour le reste, le wifi passe sans pb, les deux cartes video aussi, gestion economie d’énergie bien au point.
Perso, j’en suis content.
